Tony Miles


Tony Miles' career includes several decades in federal government service as a senior executive in various departments, including the Department of Energy and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. He also served as Vice President for Legal Affairs at National Public Radio and then as Deputy General Counsel of the National Science Foundation (NSF). At NSF, he worked on a range of matters involving the interface between technology and public policy and was a member of the U. S. delegation to the 1998 World International Property Organization conference on intellectual property rights to databases of scientific information. Tony also served on the faculty at Howard University Law School, teaching courses in the Law of Nonprofit Organizations and Business Organization.
