Deborah Dunning

Deborah Dunning is the public voice of The Green Standard and speaks with passion about the importance for each one of us to become engaged in making “choices for the environment” in the products we select at work, at home, and in our community organizations. Her work is focused on bringing individuals and institutions together to create education, technology and training on science-based yet user-friendly tools that facilitate sustainable product design, manufacture, selection, use and end of product life disposal. To this role, Deborah brings 15 years of experience in exhibit development and in sustainable community development. She prepared for leading The Green Standard’s development of “a trio of tools” using Life Cycle Assessment with graduate level courses in this area. Deborah serves as member of the “LCA into LEED” workgroup of the U. S. Green Building Council and the Life Cycle Initiative of the UN Environment Program.
